Carburetor Carb 796587 is designed for use with 19, 19.5, 20, 20.5, and 21 HP Engine Craftsman Riding Mower Lawn Tractor equipped with a 19HP Intek Single Cylinder OHV Motor, it is a replacement for Nikki carburetors 591736, 594601, 591731, 796109, and 594593.

When experiencing issues with the carburetor, there are a few common problems to check for. Firstly, ensure that the oil circuit is functioning properly by checking for any blockages in the fuel tank to carburetor oil supply line. Make sure the tubing is clear and there are no obstructions.

Secondly, if the idle speed is too low, it may be necessary to adjust the idle speed settings. The new carburetor may not perfectly match the machine due to aging or wear of parts. In this case, adjusting the idle speed by turning the valve screw at the red circle arrow clockwise by 1-2 rings may help.

Lastly, a blocked negative pressure hole can also cause engine stalling. Make sure to check if the negative pressure hole in the red circle on the carburetor is clear upon installation.
